Congratulations and good luck.
I would recommend going to a facility and working PT or PRN. Working agency can be hellish and the facilities will throw you to the wolves. They will expect you to be fully proficient and won't cut you much slack. A facility would give you more training time and you would havetime to become familiar with the residents and policies.
I taught a CNA class at a facility and once you get your license you can go anywhere and agencies are always looking for new people. That said, I agree with Stanley RN2B in regards to working PT or PRN for a particular facility. You could even work for more than one if you need more hours ( and if you can find the time). Most places are chronically understaffed and I am sure you would be able to work as much- or as little- as you need. Plus, there are some facilities that offer benefits for their PT as a draw.

i just finished the cna training program through prestige care and will be taking the state test in 2 weeks.
my question is, do agencies accept new grads? i plan to work part-time while doing my nursing pre-requs.
any help is appreciated!
