I am looking for a DNP accredited through ACEN to avoid the 1,000 hours post bachelor's. I have my MSN in Nursing Education, so I only have 100 clinical hours and have no interest in getting 900 more. I also want a program that is entirely online (OK with going to campus to defend my project). I also want somewhere that gives NFLP funding. I found Regis College which has everything I want. Are there any others? I work FT as nurse faculty and plan to continue in this career until I retire.

Regis is a good choice. Their online and on campus programs are well respected. They also have a good amount of money for NFLP. I am starting in the fall on campus.

How long is the program? How many practicum hours?
You do have to complete 1000 hours but you get credit for your MSN hours if you can verify them. I also received credit/ hours for board certification and participation in professional organizations, Sigma etc. I believe you get credit for ANA too.

The school I'm affiliated with (as a grad and adjunct faculty) has a DNP that with four extra courses you get the education credentials. Yes, more clinical is required although I have no idea what dnp clinical consists of.

Hello, I am a fairly new nurse educator and I teach at the university level in a BSN program. The organization at which I'm affiliated supports active learning. I have exposed my students to active learning such as discussions, review panels, Kahoot and case study. I am in search of innovative ideas that may incorporate technology. I am looking to make the content interesting, engage students while covering the topics. Any suggestions??
