Any former DLSI students who recently received their ADN ? I am starting my first course developmental psychology August 14. I must say I am nervous about starting this chapter in my life and finally completing the goal of becoming an RN. Also, I am from San Diego, California if anyone reading this post wants a study buddy.

Distance Learning Systems is not a college, university, or institution of higher learning. Distance Learning Systems does not award college credit, diplomas or degrees. The role of Distance Learning Systems is to provide test preparation products a customer may use to prepare for standardized, college level subject†examinations offered by CLEP or DSST. In order for the customer to receive college credit, or a degree, the customer must enroll in a college or university.
DLSI is not a school so they cannot grant you an ASN degree. Generally this implies Excelsior, however CABRN will not license Excelsior graduates. LPN to BSN is generally ISU which also is not recognized by CABRN

I am sorry to say this but you made a BIG mistake signing that contract with DLSI! I lost over $5,000 in this scam company! Their prep materials didn't help me CLEP out 1st class that I took with them which was nursing one!
You're right. I made a big mistake. I thought I did my research and the presenters made it seem like I would be able to get my RN license in California
