I am currently in the BRN Diversion program and have currently been allowed to go back to work. I am looking to network with other RN's who have been, or are currently in Diversion. It would be helpful to hear about anyone's experiences in Diversion and to discuss the types of jobs available for someone in my current situation, as I am not allowed to provide direct patient care at this time. It has been suggested to look into Case Management but the requirements for this position all seen to exceed by experience. I would greatly appreciate positive feedback!
Google for on-line nurse support groups. There are a few out there and you'll get to hear how others went through this and employers sympathetic to nruses in diversion. There are patient care areas where narcotics are not available. Would one of these be acceptible?
