distance learning courses for ADN or BSN

ok guys, i need some help! After a bachelor's degree and a semester in graduate school for exercise science, i have decided i want to be an FNP. I have found a program within driving distance that offers some distance learning but you have to be an RN. i am not. for a lot of reasons, i can't quit my current job to go into a "traditional" RN program, nor can I relocate. I've read alot of negative comments about distance learning for people that aren't nurses already, but i'm very motivated and willing to put in the time to learn the skills i need. so, long story short, i'm looking for ADN program that can be completed by mostly distance learning.:)

it will point out the schools you want to look into by the type degree program you are interested in, e.g. online versus traditional, 4 year or 2 year, diploma, whatnot.

Check into your local universities,some of them have accelerated RN programs for people who already have a BS degree.:)

The only two distance programs that I know of where you can actually earn your RN are Excelsior and Deaconness (sp?). The problem is that you need an LPN or another clinical degree to get into both of them. I do not think that there are any true distance RN programs. Once you get your RN, there are many distance RN to BSN and distance RN to MSN programs. You just need to get your RN first. Good Luck!
