Hello everyone! So I'm currently finishing my prerequisites for the nursing program this spring semester. I've recently been applying to a variety of schools hoping to get accepted into the program; I've made mostly Bs' and some As' in my classes. My only concern is that I have a possession of marijuana charge less than 2 oz, a class B misdemeanor from June 6, 2016. However, my case was dismissed last year in December 12, 2017.
The incident occurred when I went camping with a couple of friends who happened to bring the weed. I unfortunately was caught red handed by one of the sheriff's patrolling the area, so I accepted the consequences. I was arrested and taken to jail, but was released in less than 24 hours. Although this is my first and ONLY offense, will this prevent me from getting accepted into the nursing program?
If anyone could give me any advice or help answer my question, that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!

Well, I suggest you have someone check and see if it is on your background check. IF it is then maybe you can have it removed legally.
