Susan I know that we are not to discuss agency,s details on the forum ,however I will very much like to see that policy /strategy change.I think it is fair that if an agency is good we say yes it is good, and when they are BAD we also mention them so that other people don,t make the same mistakes as others.

Some of them are just ridiculous and by exposing them they might just improve.

Hi, I agree that exposing the bad agency helps others from being cheated. However, everybody has different experience about the same agency. We see from the nurse's side only (and we think it is fair to do so), however, we should not forget that the agencies are there to do business. And of course, they put their interest first before anybody else's.

I would suggest nurses to do a thorough research on any agency's background. Find out from many others (who have used them), how many of them have been successful, how smoothly the agency handled it etc. One or two cases of errors can happen, and most of the times we just see people expressing their grievances not thanks. Have the agency explain and answer all your questions. Don't forget, word of mouth doesn't mean anything. Have them give the information/promises in writing. That puts you in better position legally. Just don't jump to an agency because they give unrealistic hopes.

At this time, any agency who promises you green within so and so amount of time, may simply be lying. I suggest nurses not give their original documents and permission to use any personal documents or information unless you are 100% certain that the agency is right for you.

Sorry, but we cannot list the names of the bad agencies as that leaves this bulletin board subject to being sued. It is a privately held company and we do not permit it here.

We always recommend that someone does a thorough search on an agency, and as Starbin mentioned above, when they promise something that you know they cannot do, please contact the US Embassy in your country with that information. They can then address the issues concerning them.

But we are not permitted to post that here. Thanks for your understanding on this.
