Discouraged test taker-Failed NCLEX RN

Someone please help. I am so down in the dumps sad and depressed. I failed my NCLEX RN exam. I don't know how I can sit for this test again. How do I go on? What to do?

hey there! I know how you feel I was feeling exactly like you couple of weeks ago..I was simply exhausted from studying for two months. I end up buying Kaplan on the first try, which I did tons of questions, read the entire book/videos..which it didn't help me whatsoever :(...I took 10 days off for myself after failing...simply relaxed and breath and trying to get the energy to fig out how to do this differently..So, I decided to buy Hurst review this time around...which I just started yesterday, its pure content..which I need...I love it! MY goal is to master every topic and then move on to the next. First time, I felt so much pressure around me since all my family is a nurse or a doctor, so you can imagine..and all my classmates seemed to pass on the first try. I know one thing that I finished nursing school in one yr (accelerated program), which was an insane and hard program, why Can I pass this one test?...so, I need to start from scratch and keep looking forward, and never look back...I am very hard worker and I have so much faith that I know I will succeed on the next try...

In other words, please don't give up!...Keep fighting!

What you need right now is to simply rest your brain? take a break! then tell yourself in a week I need to focus on my weekness and then come up with a schedule or different way to absorb the info by having ONE content resource , mult resources of q's, youtube videos, etc..

Awww..that's great!..trust me I know its hard at the beginning..give yourself a break right now so you can start fresh..I wish you all the best...We are going to succeed!!!...We are very close :)...BELIEVE IT!

Hi! Just like you, I failed the first time and now I'm studying Hurst online review for my second take next month, I like Hurst I understand a lot of concepts now unlike before, probably much better than when I was still at nursing school. I have yet to know if it's gonna help me pass the NCLEX, tho. But I'm keeping the faith! I hope you will too. Don't lose hope, let's stay positive so we can attract positive results too! :) Good luck'

Hi there! I'm doing OK thank you. I've decided to read and study the entire Saunders book before moving forward. I also plan to use NCLEX 4000 cd for additional questions. Have you taken your exam?

Hi. How were your QT and sample NCLEX scores in Kaplan? I'm using Kaplan also, and I'm curious if it will be enough! Thanks.

hey, I will be taking it in a couple of wks...did you do all hurst?..I have used ncsbn 3 wk as well...did their qbanks...I am reviewing hurst for the 3rd time before I take their 6 tests..I am leaving ob/peds last..I have only covered some drugs...hope I am doing enough...will you be taking it soon?..Will pray for us!!! :):) God will guide us until we reach the finish line..:)
