Dirty ol' women

Since I've been married to a man that works at the same facilty with me, I am understanding why nursing is mostly women. Those old women are quite flirty. Just to give you guys a smirk, I though I would share some comments made to/ or about my husband (he's a PT)

*To my husband by a 93 yr old: "Honey, I know you are young, and I am old, and I know I have wrinkles and you don't, but I sure do like to look at you and that cute little tush"

*To me, by a 70's woman: "Please let me know when my doctor or that boy from PT is coming to see me. I need to put on my lipstick. I might want to get a little sugar". Same woman pinched his bottom while he was ambulating her (I would have never encouraged her to do this *looks angelic*)

*To a CNA, by a frequent flier age 78: "Honey, I'm going to require my baths in the morning. My boyfriend from PT is coming after lunch, and I've got to be smelling good for him."

*To me, after a 80 year old patient was told by another staff member that he was my husband: "I sure wouldn't mind sleeping where you sleep at night. Man that looks like that knows what to do" (okay, I don't blush easily but :imbar)

I have found these comments so funny, just thought I would share.

Actually, it's fine here in Geriatric/LTC.;)

My hubby and I work in the same assisted living facility, and though we're far closer in age to the elderly people we serve than you are, flirty ol' women (and men!) are the same everywhere. You wouldn't believe how many of our female residents think my 57-year-old mate is "a hunk". And dh likes to remind me that I still am turning men's heads even at the rapidly advancing age of almost-50.....even if those heads are full of white hair!:D
