Direct Entry of nursing Fall 2017 at Simmons

Published

Has anyone applied to the Direct Entry of nursing Fall 2017 at Simmons? I 'm still waiting to hear from them. My status says" file under review for completion?

I forgot to say that the financial office keeps sending me letters asking to fill out a form so that they can decide the amount of aid that I need for the fall semester, while I don't hear from the admission office. That's strange!

@loulounia

Hey, I would suggest calling the admissions and ask about a tentative period if you haven't already done that.

I have nog received any financial aid info, but did get an offer from Boston College's program and a generous scholarship

@JDLFNP Cool! looks like you have so many options to choose from! :-)

Hi all,

I also got in for fall. Im not from the east coast so don't know how highly the program is considered. Ive spoke to a few students and received some mixed reviews. I was wondering if any of you have heard from current or past students of the program and their opinions.

I'm not a current student of the program, though I am a current student of Simmons (finishing my undergrad in nutrition this May). So I've taken my fair share of classes in the School of Nursing and Health Sciences and I know how Simmons works as a school. I'd be happy to answer any questions!

Neeshjo, out of curiosity, what have you heard about it that was mixed? So far, the reviews I've seen have all been pretty positive.

Sorry to be offtrack, but wondering if anybody decided to put down the deposit?

Has anyone applied and not received an answer yet? Based on this Forum where everyone has been accepted, I'm wondering if acceptances are sent first and wait lists and rejections follow? I hope not since this is the only program I applied to, but I need to prepare myself -- if anyone has insight, I'd be grateful. Thanks!! Deborah

I am waiting to hear from them too.

Do they just send them in batches or something? Is there any significance to the batches though? It seems the majority have heard? Or maybe those on the forum aren't a representative sample somehow
