Just curious if anyone who has applied to the Direct Entry MSN programs at UMASS Worcester, MGH, or Northeastern for Fall 2010 has been contacted about interviews or received word either way yet? I know the deadlines aren't until this week but just wondering if anyone sent their applications in early has heard anything. Thanks!
Hmm it sounds like they are changing this year to year. Which is odd, as this is from their website: "Applicants to the MEPN Program will be guaranteed an admission interview if they complete UVM's Post-Baccalaureate Premedical Program with a 3.2 GPA in their Post-Bac study, and meet all other minimum criteria for admission to the MEPN Program. For info about the Post-Bac Program visit learn.uvm.edu/premed"
That's seems frustration to hear differences in the process. I know last year was the FIRST year that had interviews.
I work in college admissions, and it's not uncommon to change things up to make sure the process results in the best candidates. They may have adjusted their review rubric so that the interview for the non post-bacs is not necessary? It's also possible the person I spoke with was mis-informed (she was a faculty member in a specific track).
They said both in person and in my app confirmation email that decisions would be made in January, but I saw on last year's forum that people didn't hear until February. I guess whatever will be, will be!

Oh, here are a few more items I had on my list to prepare for my interview:
-Ethical conflicts and quick decision making experiences to give them a deeper understanding of how I have dealt with challenging real life situations
-Questions for them/UVM
