dilemma bsn vs. asn

i am graduating with a bs in biology, but have decided to pursue a career in nursing. What are the benefits of having a R.N. license with a bsn in nursing, versus a R.N. license with an asn in nursing? are there any benefits in salaries? job description? I am not interested in management or teaching, just patient contact as an RN.

If you already have a BS you can look into accelerated RN programs where you can also (someone correct me if I am wrong, but my understanding is) get a BSN. Look into it. The programs are quite intense..... but doable. Good luck to you.
