Difficulty having TEAS score sent to Georgia State

Published

Hi all,

Georgia State now requires the TEAS exam beginning Fall 2010 applicants. They do not offer the TEAS exam there yet, and they are also not registered with ATI to have them send scores directly to GSU for a fee. So how then are we supposed to have the scores mailed to Georgia State without doing it directly ourselves? They told me to have the university (Mercer University), where I took the TEAS, send the scores to them directly from there. Well, Mercer's Registrar Office says they don't do that either, and no one from Mercer's Nursing Department has returned my calls regarding this. So now what? Georgia State technically starts taking applications November 1, and we're a month after that now. They require the TEAS, but they have no way for us to actually get our scores there. Any suggestions????

Thanks for the heads up! Went ahead and had my TEAS transcript sent to GSU!

Well well it seems it's not quite "fixed" yet. I ordered my transcript to be sent from ATI to GSU on Dec. 4, and they have confirmation that they did in fact send the transcript to GSU that day automatically. ATI sends a digital transcript to a designated email address that GSU gives them for receiving transcripts (just like what they do for all other universities). So a week later I try to confirm that GSU has my transcript, and they say they don't have it. So now, ATI has a confirmation that it was sent to GSU, but GSU is saying they don't have it. ATI will resend it, but GSU has to call them to update their email account if it's not working or not correct.

Has anyone's scores successfully been received by GSU? I just want to figure out where the mistake is.

I'll call them up tomorrow to find out. Good thing I saved a copy of my checkout page.

I was not able to reach the main admissions lady because she's out until the 5th of January, so I guess I'll just have to wait :/. Hopefully, it is an ATI mishap but something is tell me, no.

ATLbubbles, looks like everything was received successfully.
