Hi all,
Georgia State now requires the TEAS exam beginning Fall 2010 applicants. They do not offer the TEAS exam there yet, and they are also not registered with ATI to have them send scores directly to GSU for a fee. So how then are we supposed to have the scores mailed to Georgia State without doing it directly ourselves? They told me to have the university (Mercer University), where I took the TEAS, send the scores to them directly from there. Well, Mercer's Registrar Office says they don't do that either, and no one from Mercer's Nursing Department has returned my calls regarding this. So now what? Georgia State technically starts taking applications November 1, and we're a month after that now. They require the TEAS, but they have no way for us to actually get our scores there. Any suggestions????

Call the advisor at GSU and let them know what roadblocks you've come across and see what they suggest.
Yea I did that too and it was all forwarded to the nursing department, and I haven't heard anything. Another roadblock.

Hey, I also took the TEAS at Mercer, and I am also trying to send in my scores to Georgia State. I spoke with ATI (over the phone) and they told me that GA State needs to confirm with them that they would in fact like to be added onto the list of TEAS recipient schools.
So, I emailed the GSU nursing department about the aforementioned details, but I've yet to hear back.
Just letting you know that you're not the only one ;p

Have you asked ATI if they can send the results to you and then you take them to GSU without opening the envelope? Good Luck
According to their site,
How to Submit Scores Taken Outside of Georgia State
Scores must be mailed to the BFLSON directly from the school in which the exam was administered or directly from ATI. Results from other schools must be mailed in the college's stationary envelope with a signature across the flap. Scores that are included in the application packet or mailed by the student will NOT be accepted.
Though, according to this page, http://chhs.gsu.edu/nursing/2137.html they dont even seem to be ready to administer this exam (funny considering the deadline is not that far away).

Yup, my point exactly.
Hopefully they will extend the deadline if they don't figure out a way to accept the scores! How strange!

I was wondering the exact same thing. I have spent the last 2 days on GSU and ATI's website (and on the live chat with ATI) trying to figure out how to take this exam thru GSU. They need to address this!
And I have still yet to get a response.
I called GSU's nursing dept today and asked about this. The lady I spoke with said they are in the process of switching companies or something since they went from the NET to the TEAS. She says they should have the TEAS testing dates and registration information up on the website in about 3 weeks (so check by the end of December!). She said the testing dates are usually in February. I will definitely keep you all posted on any updates I come across. Good luck to everyone in the app process!
Thanks for the update, and I actually see Ga State U listed under ATI Transcripts page (purchase a transcript page).
