I had to drop the hist class (hist since 1865)! If you can take it in a community college, that will be better! planning to take it nearby.
TO be honest, its better to take all the gen req outside UTA!
I heard the pol science I is not too bad.
Technical writing is not too bad either- ended up with A
Still have to take both pol science class and lit.
the rest I took them at my com college !!
US Govt was pretty easy, I just finished it. I also have taken Hist to 1865 and it was ALOT of work which was a big pain in the tail, you had to do discussions and then your group has to submit an overall discussion that is agreed upon, your involvement in the group discussion is part of your grade, on top of an essay and a test it was just alot, enough to make me think twice about taking the next one smh. I"m taking State and Local this Fall so not sure on that yet....
Hi there calisha86,
Can you please tell me how Contemporary math was? I start the course on 8/15/16. I'm so nervous because I haven't taken math in years and I too work full time and have a 17 month old. Who was your professor? Is math your strong suit? I just have this class, vulnerable populations and then capstone. Praying I can pass math so I can graduate in December. Any advice is greatly appreciated! Here's my email if you have any tips :) [email protected]
Kelzp66 is your instructor Professor Mitchell? here's my email if you want to reach out to me: [email protected]. I opted to wait to take a class with this class since I haven't taken math in over 10 years! Math is not my strong suit! I'm praying there's good video lectures!

I am interested and doubling up on courses in the RN to BSN program at UTA, but don't want to get in over my head. I currently work 44 hours a week and am married with a child. I took Contemporary Math and Rhetoric and Composition II together last semester. The rhetoric course had a lot of busy work which made taking 2 courses challenging. I still have to take the following courses:
Because I have so many prerequisites that I still need to take, I feel the need to take more than one course at a time. What were some of your easiest and toughest courses? I'd greatly appreciate any input!
