Difficulty rankings for UTA RN to BSN courses

I am interested and doubling up on courses in the RN to BSN program at UTA, but don't want to get in over my head. I currently work 44 hours a week and am married with a child. I took Contemporary Math and Rhetoric and Composition II together last semester. The rhetoric course had a lot of busy work which made taking 2 courses challenging. I still have to take the following courses:

  • Sociology
  • Developmental Psychology
  • US History to 1865
  • US History since 1865
  • US Government
  • State/Local Government
  • Technical Writing
  • My choice of any Literature

Because I have so many prerequisites that I still need to take, I feel the need to take more than one course at a time. What were some of your easiest and toughest courses? I'd greatly appreciate any input!

I also emailed the Professor asking if she could get me the information on the text so I have it before class starts. I will post once she emails back.

The textbook info is available on efollett, I ordered that already, I just don't know the schedule.

I can't find which book we need. Can you send me the information?

It's a choice of two my math lab plus isbn#9781323487655 or survey of mathematics #9781323059388. Based on efollett both are school specific so you have to get it thru them. U can call the bookstore but if u log into blackboard on the far right side it says "launch Follett discover" and that's where u go to find your books and order them

Ok I'll call them. Which one did you purchase? Math lab plus?

Yes I got my math lab cause it was cheapest lol

Can you both let me know how the course goes. I cant decide if I should take the 8wk course or the full semester. Any details would be greatly appreciated. You can email at [email protected] Thank you so much in advance.

hawaiin, I opted for the 8 week, wanna be done with it fast as possible. Will let u know.

I took Mitchell for Math review (foundational) it was the 8 week course and it went SO fast for me. I felt there was not enough time for anything to sink in, I start today with Jackson, 15 weeks contemp math 1301 and am looking for the 10th edition book. I bought the 9th and am missing the code but seriously a $152 math book is outrageous.
