I have been retired from nursing for many years, helping my husband in his various small businesses. I have kept my license active however. The kids are older now and I'd like to go back to work. I don't actually want to go back to nursing, ( never liked the stress of life or death), but I would like to find something in which my BSN would be useful. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for any help.

Hi Painter !
How about a substitute school nurse. I am a school nurse and we always are looking for good reliable substitutes. Also, flu shot clinic. They can keep you busy for several months of the year. Good luck in getting back into the flow of nursing !

What about case management? Most positions require nursing experience and a BSN. Some life insurance companies also hire nurses to help with health screenings/underwriting.
