I am in the middle of job hunting and I have a few interviews coming up. There is one in particular that I am mostly interested in but I have other interviews as well.
I'm just wondering what is correct if I am still interviewing for "dream job" but get a job offer from " the likable job" first. For example, the dream job still hasn't decided or I am still going through the interview process but the likable job send me a job offer first? I'm assuming telling them, "let me see if my dream job offers me the position first and then I will get back to you" is rather rude and unprofessional LOL.
Any suggestions?

Ask them for time to consider the offer and discuss with family. Many may have a time limit such as 48 hours, but it can’t hurt to ask.

If you are offered a job from your "likeable" job, you contact your "dream job" and inquire the status of the job opening because you have an offer on the table, but would rather have the dream job. If the decision is not going to be made in a few days, then accept the second choice. If you are offered the "dream job" before starting the other job, accept offer and notify the second choice.
