Nursing Students NCLEX
Published Feb 5, 2012
Does anyone know what the differences are in the Nclex/RN and the Nclex/LPN exam? I don't remember the Lpn/Nclex being that bad. The hardest part was trying to relax so I could think straight!

i had taken it four years before but hadn't had a nursing job that entire time. nursing was my second career and i worked at my old proofreading/copyright job waiting for my dream job to appear. dumb move, i know. the second state suggested it, treating me moreor less as a newer grad.
or less as a newer grad.
huh, i never knew that might happen. but i guess without experience when applying for the endorsement, it might have been odd. still, kudos to you for going through it twice (and passing twice :) )

i was torn about which direction i wanted to go in college. my parents assumed law school (they were both lawyers) but i had other ideas. i ended up doing the classical route, got a proofing job i loved but began to wonder whether i'd made the right choice. i went
to nursing school while being at loathe to cut all ties with my other familiar world and friends.
i had absolutely no idea what area of nursing interested me. none. i guess i kept thinking i'd be a proofreader until the job i wanted
in nursing magically appeared. dumb, huh? eventually, i just quit amd took a nursing job i hated, but it did give me experience so i could do psych and grad school eventually. moral: take a nursing job -- any nursing job -- and get some experience. you won't be stuck
in that department forever.
