a&p 2 is just a continuation of a&p 1, but the second have or at least for me covered things like cardiology, respiratory and neuro.

Well, first of all, it depends on your professor. I had A&P1 at a community college where it was super hard ( only 3 of us passed out of the origional class of 30 or so). My A&P2 was at another school and pretty much the whole class passed. I got a B in A&P1(studying non-stop) and an A in A&P2, which I found to be less difficult.
It's been awhile, but A&P1 was alot of knowing muscles,bones,neurons,etc..., while A&P2 is focusing on how the systems work.
Best of luck to you. Just make sure you keep up with reading/studying(don't try to cram it in the day before a test) and you will do fine.

I took both a&p 1 and 2 at the same school. i had different professors for both, and definetly thought a&p 1 was harder. I think i feel this way cause it was my time to learn how to study this material, and find what worked for me and what didnt. In 2 i used my video camera to tape lab material and i would study it a few times to memorize things, i found that it made practicals soooo much easier for me to ace. In both though i always passed the lecture exams with c's. never did to hot on those.....good luck

A&P I is purely rote memorization (i.e., the ankle bone's connected to the leg bone) while A&P II is more about conceptualization (i.e., reabsorption of electrolytes within the kidney tubules to maintain balance).

I took A&P I and II both at a Community College and with the same instructor. I do think that A&P I was more difficult, just because everything was brand new. If you did well in 'I', 'II' shouldn't be too difficult. It's just going into the next steps of the body and getting a more indepth look of the organs.
Good Luck!!!
Thanks.
I had issues with sciences classes in HS. liek gettign c's sort of issues, not failure issues, but I think my problem was that I didnt study enough. I was very much a last minute studier. Now I know better, (ahh what maturity brings!!)and I plan on studying what we learned that class right after, rather than waiting until test time!

I took the same professor for both, and A&P II just took off where one stopped. The difference was that the body systems in two were much more complex, and difficult. We still had to memorize all the parts for those systems. I think the difficulty was trying to actually understand and memorize how they worked, and why they worked.
