Did any of you see the story of the LPN on Good Morning America this morning?
A lady was talking to a reporter at the convention center and went into shock form lack of insluin. A nurse in the crowd stepped up an took charge. She used an accucheck meter and commandeer insulin form someone in the crowd and helped the lady.
Yup, and LPN.

I thought you went into shock from to much insulin and coma from to little. I saw the news clip about that situation while the flooding was still going on in New Orleans. I guess they must have reshown the footage. There was something about the woman who collasped that suggested to me at the time that part of her problem was being emotionally overwhelmed. Under the circumstances that was quite understandable. I remember thinking the nurse really kept her cool.
