hello to all in the community,

when you took the hesi a2 entrance exam, did your hesi a2 entrance exam have a physics section that you were required to take?

i ask this because i am taking the hesi a2 entrance exam for the 1st time on august 26,2011. the 2nd edition evolve hesi "admission assessment exam review" by moby/elsevier has an entire section of physics in it for review.

i have triple-checked with the nursing school that i want to apply to, and it does not state that physics is a prerequisite.

to recapitulate, did any of you who took the hesi a2 entrance exam have to take a physics section on the exam as well?

thank-you for your time and attention,

cytopathic

I do not think that it is on the test but there is a section for it in the hesi book. I have no clue why.

The HESI exam I took only included Reading Comprehension, Grammar, Vocabulary and Math, even though I know there are other sections in the review book. I guess it depends on what each school has for requirements?

Each school does have its own requirements on which sections that must be taken. At one school I went to A&P was not required but at this school it is! Good Luck to You!

I have not heard of anyone anywhere needing the physics section. Perhaps they just stick stuff in there to make the book appear thicker? lol

Thanks for your thoughts.

Oh by the way, I visited the website of the nursing school I want to attend, and they do not require physics on the HESI for their application requirements. (I did not know that at the time I posted my thread, so I am nevertheless grateful for your responses.)
