Did ATI help you on the NCLEX?

ATI and faculty swear that the ATI is the most beneficial resource for passing NCLEX. Has anyone else found this to be true, or is this just a sales pitch?

where can I get the ATI materials? I am studying for my nclex even though it isnt till august. I want to start early

I don't think that you can... your school has to use them. Your best bet is to try amazon, ebay, and half. I know people sell the books and DVD's because people are often willing to pay a lot for them.

I suppose you are right now that I have my result - i did indeed pass. I didn't feel as though it "prepared" me because I thought the questions were so much more random and obscure, and I was totally unprepared for the test to be that way. I thought it would be much more about critical thinking than about random stuff.

The nature of the test - adaptive - contributes to the feeling of failing miserably. It messes with your mind for sure. I thought I got the majority of the questions wrong. Perhaps the passing standard is lower than I'd imagine, or perhaps I guessed well.

you can buy the ATI stuff from ATI directly online and get access to the quizzes and comprehensive predictors. I don't know if it's cheaper than Kaplan or not. I looked and looked for a stat on ATI's website to see what their NCLEX pass rate was, and couldn't find a number only a "nearly all" of students pass kind of thing.

Of course ATI helps. Any organized review process and test simulations are helpful. There's nothing special about ATI, though.

Personally, I wouldn't have used it if it weren't required at my school, but that's simply due to the price. I'd have stuck with Saunders and perhaps purchased the NCLEX 3500 bank.

The good news is that if you get through all the ATI practice exams and do well on the predictor then you'll likely do fine on the NCLEX.

Not as many people seem to be as satisfied with ATI as with the other review materials out there. You just have to go with what you can afford and put your best effort into it. Anything will help if you work hard at it.

The NCLEX prep from ATI is a very good indicator that you understand how to look at questions and apply critical thinking. Remember that the use information to measure your ability to practice safe effective care. So as long as you address the issue asked you will do fine

yes ATI helped--as well as HESI.

all reviews are the same. They provide you with a guide toward success. The focused review and test taking videos are great on ATI. I suggest using all of ATI not just small parts.

Our school used ATI. I wasn't impressed with it. I passed the nclex but I believe it was from studying the PDA book throughout my last semester.
