My favorite job prospect wants me to complete the CAQH. How hard is this process (I am told it is quite tedious and challenging). Any tips?

No, this should be the employer's responsibility.
In this case the company consists of three people so they are asking me to help. Given that they are my only $100 hour offer I am inclined to do so if I can figure out the process.
$100/hr? What kind of job is this? Full time with benefits?

Yeah I agree.... over 200k as a new grad in Fl? I'm packing my bags tonight....
myoglobin - how far will I bee from Disney? doesn't matter.. .it's closer than I am now ?
This offer is in Flagstaff. My best Florida offer was 140k and would require a two hour commute each way. Also no benefits 1099, but they will let me work 4 10’s and a half day on Friday (so I will get 45 paid hours per week). Also they will pay one hour of admin time per day and the psych, medication follow up times are 25 minutes. I could earn more with the 75 percent split offered in Everett, but I might starve in the interim and my wife (who will be remaining in Florida as our son is starting college in Jan) has explained that I’m on my own financially.
Are you gonna be in a specialty area? You mentioned psych meds. Are you PMHNP?
To answer your question about CAQH, it is not hard. It's like filling up a CV. You have to know your licenses #, NPI, medicare #, medical malpracrice insurance, references, etc.
Now, the medical malpractice insurance should be provided by the company. If not, this is going to be expensive for you and may be better off to find somebody who is willing to give you insurances.
I already have malpractice insurance and it is $100.00 per month. Also my wife ( also a PMHNP) has worked 1099 for the last 3 years and also has to pay her own insurance(and she only gets 85 hour but does get to work from home). I have tried to fill out the CAQH, but keep getting error messages when I try to submit starting with my home address which it says cannot be found in USPS.
If your home address is in a community or a new location sometimes it can not be found at times but there should be an "ignore" choice to get through and that should not be a problem.

Nope. My place of employment did this for me. I just provided pertinent information and signatures.
