Did anyone apply for the 2017 Fall Nursing Program at Malcolm X?

Trying to find out if anyone applied for the Nursing program at Malcolm X? What should I expect after applying?

I wonder why? They probably added more seats or just didn't have enough qualified applicants. I'm so nervous, now I really have to wait until May or June to hear back.

I mean if they have more seats then awesome! But I was really hopping in the next month knowing if I got in or not.

Hi guys, this is so disappointing. I had applied thinking I would know at least by March....ugh! I am an LPN, GPA 3.3, TEAS 88%. I am currently taking microbiology. I'm thinking they must not have enough students that applied. I have LPN classmates that are telling they're program is really hard, allot of students are dropping off they're program. Guess we'll see, good luck to us.

Yeah, this is absolutely disappointing. I don't know who it's benefitting because the classes at Malcolm X ends in May so those taking classes would still have to wait until next semester.

Exactly and the last TEAS test was the 28th so there's really no reason to prolong this.

Ugh, just found out about the extended deadline! I was really hoping to find out sooner than later. Also, being a transfer student, I had to jump through hoops to get some of my transcripts processed on time and it looks like I put myself through some unnecessary stress. When talking to an advisor a little bit ago, he said there weren't enough applicants and the nursing program was thinking about extending the deadline so some still in the process of getting their CNA certifications could apply.

I was just at the school on yesterday and I was told the deadline was extended because they didn't have enough qualified applicants so if you meet all requirements you shouldn't be worried. That gave me a lot of hope and concern at the same time. Now I'm wondering why people not applying at CCC for nursing?
