Dialysis...where to go?

I'm really sorry to hear about your mom. I'm not from Cavite so I'm not familiar with any dialysis centers there. I hope you'll be able to find a decent and affordable dialysis center for your mom. May God ease things for you and her. TC

My mother is diabetic (DM1) and she is now suffering to a lot of complications, just today she was admitted to a hospital and the doctor said that she might has a kidney failure. I am not sure yet of the diagnosis until we have all the lab exams. The doctor also added that, in that case, she needs to have dialysis. Does anybody knows a hospital with such facilities that is not too expensive? We are from Cavite. Thanks in advance.

Ospital ng Maynila has dialysis center (had my NCM205 duty there), but they cater to Manila residence only... you can always try though...

Ospital ng Maynila has dialysis center (had my NCM205 duty there), but they cater to Manila residence only... you can always try though...

Thanks, she is now in NKTI. It's hard though because it's a bit far from Cavite and the travel time (with those traffic jam) is really terrible.

I don't know. Better try outpatient clinics which are affordable than hosp-based. Try Phil. Kidney Dialysis Foundation, NKTI, Asia Renal Care, Nephro systems and lastly Genesis Dialysis Clinic and diagnostic Center. I worked there before. Its located at San Juan. In front of Greenhills mall. Hope this helps.
