DFW- Baylor

I have a phone interview scheduled in the next couple days for a PCU GN-internship at Baylor. I wanted to know if anyone has gone through the phone interview process? If you have, do you remember any specific questions they had asked? I want to be fully prepared. I am a new Grad and have no nursing experience, so all help and suggestions are welcomed! :)

I work for Baylor and had a phone interview (after interviewing at a career fair). The problem is my boss is extreeeeeemly laid back and casual, and so was our phone interview. She basically just told me about the floor, and asked me why I picked that particular hospital. Then we chatted for a while.

I don't think this is the typical phone interview. I would be prepared to answer all the standard questions....why you wanted to be a nurse, good qualities, weaknesses, how you handled a tough situation, why you are picking PCU, how do you handle conflict, how do you manage time....etc.

Good luck on your interview!!! Since it is over the phone, you can jot down a few notes to have with you....just dont sound like you're reading them !! :)

I've never done a phone interview before, but does the recruiter call you on that specific time? or do you call them?

Thank you so much for your advice with the anticipated questions tele jelly! Also, thank you for the encouragement and interview tips! I appreciate your help and hopefully we can both work for Baylor in the future! :)
