I am moving to Novi here soon and was wondering what hospitals are hiring? I am starting my masters program in the winter and would like to find a hospital that pays for as much schooling as possible. Whats the pay rates over there? I have worked on a neuro/trauma unit for two years and I am at only 23.80. Thanks, Megan

A couple of months ago I was hired on at the DMC's Harper University Hospital. The DMC is currently hiring. If you need a referral or info please let me know. They seem on par with other places pay. Not a bad place to work at all. It looks like they pay fairly well to further your educations.
Do you know what the pay rate is around there?

GRnurse57,
I work at Henry Ford Hospital in West Bloomfield Michigan. They are currently hiring for positions on the Neurology unit. UNFORTUNATELY... everybody and their mothers are trying to work there as well so for 2 positions there are 2000 applicants. If you are really interested, send me a private message including your experience. I believe if you have an employee referral, your chances are better. HFH offers great benefits although they have cut back within the last year. I am finishing up nursing school as we speak (2 weeks left to go wo hooo) and they paid for my entire schooling. ALL i have to do is give them 3 years. Not bad.
Good Luck.
I can't figure out how to send you a private message! Congrats to you on almost finishing!! Actually HFH in West Bloomfield was one I was looking at. Do you like it there? It seems like that had a lot of job openings. Thanks for your response back. I will get you my info as soon as I figure how to use this site.
Actually now that I am filling out the application, I need your name and email address.
Its no problem... you should be able to click on my name and then it may give you a few options... one of them being "send candygyrl a message." Anyhow, HFWB is a new hospital and they haven't even completely opened up all of the beds yet so they will continue to hire RN's. I love it there. It is absolutely beautiful. They literally hand picked each and every staff member through an intricate little process called talent Plus+. They foster excellence in patient satisfaction and they really are concerned with their employees happiness. I'll try sending you a private message. Look at the top of your screen and check for "New messages". I have to work tonight so I'll check back this evening and If I still don't see anything, I'll leave you my info here.
Good Luck!

You need to have sent 15 messages or so before you can send a pm.
