hello everyone....i took the nclex last march 28 and i failed....i dont know what to do...i am exhausted to take it again..i gave my best shot coz i dont want to take it the 2nd time around...what must i do?pls help me.....:banghead::zzzzz:stone:confused:

I'm really sorry you didn't pass. But really... the only thing you can do, is get up... dust yourself off and study study study... and then re-take the exam. You've worked too hard to give up now.

There are a lot of people who don't pass on the first try. You may want to check out the NCLEX forum. There is a lot of good advice on that board. Good luck.

look in the forums for suzanne4's study plan. she is a moderator here who offers her plan free. it's a bunch of work including study, study and then study some more. however we get glowing reports from the many who pass nclex. it's ok to feel down after such a stressful test, but do as luvmy3kids says try again!!!

addendum: please private message suzanne4 directly and not through the forums.

You can do it!! Believe in yourself and remember the dreams you have worked for. I'll be rooting for you so keep us posted on your progress. You should be so proud to have come this far and now that you know what the test requires you can go in there and ace it. Good Luck!!!

I know someone who didn't pass multiple times and she is a wonderful nurse! And I hate to say it but....I also know people that passed on the first try and I wouldn't let them take care of me in a million years!! Don't feel bad. Just having to take the NCLEX again doesn't make you a bad nurse. Study study study. And good luck to you.

There are two things you can do the first is quit which is about the dumbest thing you can do. Since I know just by having completed nursing school you are not dumb that advice is not for you.

The other thing is to go back to the drawing board. Check back with your instructors ask for their guidance. (they know your strong and weak point). Get a good study guide and hit the books. Then retake the test.

There is on thing I can guarantee without a doubt, and that is if you give up you will have failed. As long as you keep working on it you will be on your way to success.

It just take some of us a little longer than others but we all get there if we don't quit. It took me 30 years from the time I started nursing school to passing the NCLEX. (no lie)
