Has anyone applied to or been accepted to DePaul's MENP program for the winter 2012 cohort?

I have also received mine! Have you made a decision yet?

Got mine yesterday, will definitely be going :) now...just have to find a place to stay.

Did you get the actual letter yet, because I have only received the email. The cost of the program scares me a bit, but I'm pretty sure I will enroll and just hope for the best.. =) Where did you complete your undergrad at?

Nope, no letter yet. They said letters were sent out Friday, I've been checking my mail constantly. Yeah, the program cost does seem more than a little intimidating...but I'm sure we'll manage! We already got through the stage of getting in! :D

I recently completed my undergrad at the University of Washington in Seattle with a major in American Ethnic Studies. For the past two years, I've been working in a pediatric emergency department. It'll be a change not having to work nights anymore. Are you local to Chicago? I've never been there before, so it's been a lot of apartment hunting online. I'm not sure if I'll even survive the harsh winter of Chicago...:uhoh3:

How much is the program?

How much is the program?

Well...it's $600 per credit hour. The program is set at 107 credits. I'll let you do the math since I don't want to see that number again. All I know is, I'll be in some debt when I come out :crying2:

I thought that would be the price tag. Just so you know, there are well known ABSN programs that are 75K for 15 months. Students are entitled to more money for grad school programs than for second bachelors degrees. Also, does anyone know how DePaul MENP graduates fare in the job hunt recently? Are they getting jobs in Chicago?

Yup, I've heard of those pricey programs, in my opinion that's just ridiculous.

I'm went to UIC for the last 2 years of my undergrad and commuted downtown (not fun), but I'm currently in Schaumburg so it should be closer this time around. Has anyone filled out their intent to enroll or are you all waiting for the letter?
