Anyone have any helpful tips for passing nclex or a good book to help with these questions?

read the question and look at the type of patients. If there is a patient that just needs assistance with feeding or washing then you can delegate. If the patient needs teaching then generally you have to do it as the RN so can't delegate.
examples to delegate
assistance with a bed bath and ambulation
assist with feeding
if to a LPN/LVN
daily dressing change
wound irrigation
not to delegate
Breathing difficulties
Complaining of pain
Teaching medication
Just a few examples of the top of my head

The book most people recommend is: Prioritization, Delegation, and Assignment: Practice Exercises for Medical-Surgical Nursing by Linda LaCharity, Candice K. Kumagai, and Barbara Bartz.
