Hi, Anyone out there applying to the Delaware Tech nursing program this spring or fall? or anyone currently in the nursing program already? What are/were your total points?
I am just about finished all the prerequisites and plan to apply in the fall 2017. Currently I have accumulated 10 points but I haven't taken the NLN yet. Just trying to figure out what I need to score on the NLN in order to get into the program.

Please help!! I failed my 1st Nur 170 exam today . Can someone please help me with how I can improve my studies or exams score. Either with books , a website to study for questions, or any suggestions from you will help. I want to do good in my next exams. We can exchange emails if you have something to send me.
Thanks!
Hi! I am currently in Nursing 200.....I would say if they are still giving you outlines study the heck out of those outlines. I even would make my own outlines for the classes that they did not give me outlines to study from. What helped me was rewriting my notes and then using that to critically think because all of their tests are what they want you to know or do as a nurse. I did well with going through my outlines and if they said for example "oh this patient has COPD" I would list everything I would do for a patient with COPD or an infection etc....the questions are definitely something new to get used to. I did pretty well in 170 by using the outlines. Let me know if I can help in any other way!
Does anyone have experience applying recently? I will be applying on 3/15 for a fall seat @ the Stanton campus. I am currently at 14 points, retaking MA129 for one more point and retaking the TEAS on 3/4 for one more point. Ideally I would like to get into the accelerated program, but if I don't get 16 points is this even a possibility?
@stephparch if you go to where you register online, you need to open the advanced search option. Scroll all the way down to where it says “part of term” and then you can select the term you want to see if the class is available in a shorter section. My section was listed under “first 7 or 8 weeks”.

I hear you girl! Those exams are tough. You can do it though! I know it may seem really hard but you have to devote most of your time to school. Also, I found it helpful to get used to answering those critical thinking questions. Do yourself a favor and attend the SIPN lecture at school. Kiersten has lots of good questions that are similar to what would be asked on an exam. One last thing, as soon as you finish one test, start reading and preparing for the next exam. Last minute cramming for a test does not work in nursing school. Please let me know how you are doing. Oh, and if you happen to meet Reagan or Jaci, I know them. Tell them hi from me ?
