Delaware Technical Community College Ranking Points

Published

Hi, Anyone out there applying to the Delaware Tech nursing program this spring or fall? or anyone currently in the nursing program already? What are/were your total points?

I am just about finished all the prerequisites and plan to apply in the fall 2017. Currently I have accumulated 10 points but I haven't taken the NLN yet. Just trying to figure out what I need to score on the NLN in order to get into the program.

Yes, my mistake before was thinking Deltech was my only option and I could've been a nurse by now if I didn't have that mindset. Everything happens for a reason, though. Don't put all your eggs in one basket!

Hi guys, I've been silently reading but I wanted make a post in case anyone was wondering about ranking/acceptance in the future.
I applied at the Stanton location with 14.53/16 points on the August 15th deadline. I received my acceptance letter on August 30 at around 2:00 p.m.

Congratulations!! 🎉🎊🍾

Thank you! I'm very excited. I didn't think I would get in the first time applying. My TEAS score was 85.3 and I got an A in anatomy and physio but I spoke to a few people who had even better scores than I did and had military preference so I was doubtful I'd be accepted.
For those who didn't get accepted, don't give up. I studied for about a year before I tested for the TEAS, focusing heavily on the science portion (but don't underestimate reading and English). The ATI TEAS app was one of my most used resources, and then the TEAS Mastery app. Carolyn McAllister and the tutorgeek on YouTube were also very good. If you can't get into Del-Tech, try Cecil Community College. They use Kaplan for entrance and it's much easier than the TEAS. Good luck everybody ❤️

Wow! You worked hard so you definitely deserve a seat in that program! The TEAS is definitely a difficult test. Yes, congratulations again. Well deserved! 🎉🍾

Yep, this makes sense. I think this is the fastest way to get into nursing school.

Has anyone who applied to Georgetown received their acceptance letters yet?

Specializes in pre-LPN.

@SaturnBlue That's great news! Very impressive. Congratulations 🎈🎉 😀 and thanks for the info!

To anyone who applied to the Owens Campus ADN program on August 15, I received my acceptance letter this afternoon, September 12. I got in with 14.07 out of 16 points.

Hi! I'm out of state of I only have 12 points. I am applying to the Georgetown campus. I am curious the lowest points you guys know someone got in with.

Hey everyone!  I just applied to Dover campus hoping that it's easier to get in. My overall score is a 13.53. I live really close to Stanton, but was so afraid that I wouldn't get in.

Does anyone know where Dover does their clinical?  Do you think a 13.53 will get me in?

I applied to Dover as well! Not sure about scores, but I was told that clinicals are all across the state. It sounded like a lot of them are up north so you may be lucky with your location!
