Delaware Technical Community College Ranking Points

Hi, Anyone out there applying to the Delaware Tech nursing program this spring or fall? or anyone currently in the nursing program already? What are/were your total points?

I am just about finished all the prerequisites and plan to apply in the fall 2017. Currently I have accumulated 10 points but I haven't taken the NLN yet. Just trying to figure out what I need to score on the NLN in order to get into the program.

I applied to the Stanton campus twice but I did not get in. Then I applied to Dover & I got in. Stanton is the most competitive campus to get into. It's up to you if you want to apply to Stanton but I just wanna tell you that you have a better chance getting in if you apply to Dover instead. Also, when you apply to Dover, apply online & the paper application but on the paper application, select that you're interested in the evening program. That will better your chances of getting in. I'm actually in the evening program right now and I love it. Best of luck!

How many points did you have when you applied to Stanton's program? I live so far from Dover, commuting to and from might be rough and I don't have plans to move to the area. I'd rather transfer to Philly's CC program if Stanton is impossible.

and yes I took TEAS. But got a 69 ? so trying again next month.  

Also, Dover is like an hour for me. Even if I took the evening option I'm afraid that may be too much travel time ? now I'm totally discouraged haha

I understand. I had 12/16 points. I had a 61% on TEAS but A's in my classes.

Congrats on getting into Dover's program though! Do you know if 14 points is enough to get into Stanton? I'll have that much if I get at least an 80% on the TEAS.

61% is pretty good. I guess it all comes down to how many people apply. I know many do test with an 80%. Thank you for the reply! And congrats!!

No problem. Also, the TEAS is very challenging so it's good to have A's in your classes so you can have the most amount of points possible before you take the TEAS

Yes, that's true. I got all A's except one B.  But I'm not gonna beat myself up over it LOL
