Hi, I am new here. I am currently working on pre-reqs for the DCCC nursing program and will be applying for Fall 08. For those of you that are already in the program, can you give me an idea of what your NET scores were. I am very anxious. I didn't meet the criteria the first time, but I just got my scores back from my second try and I got 89% in math and 76% in reading and and 82% total comp score. I am going to take it one more time to see if I can improve those score, but I was wondering how everyone else did. Thanks, Tina
Hey TiffTiff! I wonder why they told you there was a cut off date? I just ordered mine during the beginning of this month and received it earlier today. I went to the Malvern location also.
Did you order at the beginning of July or beginning of August? Hopefully I will have my uniforms by the time clinicals start!
FYI...Clinicals for evening/weekends at CCH starts on 9/12/09, not 9/20. And also....CH does not teach clinicals for Chester Co Hosp. She teaches classroom for senior students (N210).:wink2:
According to the Sim LAb schedule posted under the nursing department it says that the first day of clinicals is 9/20. On 9/12 it is Sim lab.
Tiff,You are right. The first clinical day on the hospital floor is 9/20. But, technically Sim Lab on 9/12 is considered a clinical day as well (even though you aren't technically "in the hospital"). Hope that clears things up!
Do you think that they will require us to wear the uniform even though it is really a sim lab?
Matt,
I am worried about getting accepted for fall 2010. I got a 94 composite - but am told there is record number of applicants this year. I have all my prerequisites done except A&P, which I am taking now. Are you day or evening? And how are you doing? Do you enjoy it?
Thanks for the info and good luck!
