Hello NurseBunky,
Thanx for your rapid response. I tried to email you but it didn't work so I am posting my response here.
I have plenty of time before the start of the fall semester and have applied to each prog. I am trying to decide which school to attend and want to know what you liked about Gordon (the good, the bad and the ugly) and what sets it apart from Flint River (I heard great things about it). If it is difficult then what is it that makes it so, etc.
I am just trying to get a better feel for this school and anything you offer will be appreciated.
Thanx Again.

I graduated from Gordan in 1994, they had an excellant program and great instuctors. They really wanted their students to succeed. I know several LPNS who are going back there for the bridge program and have been real satisified. If you can get your RN now- do it- I see many nurses who are LPN's and are stuggling to work full time and go back to school to get their RN degree.
Gordon is an ADN program not an LPN program. It is not diffucult to get in if you have really good grades. When I applied I had a 3.8 GPA. But others got in with lower. Guys got in with under a 3.00GPA. I think this fall there were 400 applicants and only about 120get accepted. You may also want to try Macon, they have an ADN program also. Not sure where you live so. . . LaGrange also has a nursing program. Hope this helps.

Hello everyone! I am new here. I am considering attending the LPN program at either Flint River Tech or Gordon College here in GA. Does anyone have any experiences with either of these colleges? Any tips, horror stories or pointers you share would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Looking forward to enjoying this site and my time online with all of you.
