So, I finally feel I should not give up......I will be a retaker for 2nd time in December. I felt so low when I failed the test in July'07. I was thinking to take in october but just couldnt get motivated to study. In the meantime, I joined RN-BSN program. So, currently I am in school taking 15 credits of classes. I need to have my RN license before winter so I can do practical in communnity health, a required class for BSN.
After visiting this site almost everyday, reading success stories and encouragement given by one of my wonderful instructor from my ASN program, I am motivated to do it.
So, newcomers as well as retakers, Lets get together, support each other and lets pass the RN test. WE CAN DO IT.
For now, I have started practicing Q&A at least 2 hrs/day from Saunders CD. I will keep you updating and hope you all will share the tips as well.

I was praying that you had peace upon entering the testing center and that God would enlighten you with the correct answers. Lets stay calm and continue to pray as you come out and wait on your results.

I had 75 q and was done in about an hour and 15 mins. A few meds, about 4 sata, 1 math, and a bunch of others. I don't know how I feel about it. Well yes I do. I feel like I failed, but I was so prepared this time. Ugh Now I have just have to wait. I hate that California doesn't have quick results. I'm going to keep praying.
Well guys I took the Board exam. I did not pass it and the worst part is it was the easiest exam I 've taken throughout this entire journey of RN school. Go figure, only 75 questions at least 8-10 IV calculations. Spent less than 2 hours. I posted more on 2nd time testers if you want further story.
I'll take a stab at it again next year and for any of you we just have that little knot or voice telling you its not time yet learn from me and listen even if your ATT dates are about to expire. Rather good new dates than to be testing over again.
May our creator continue to watch over us and provide us with all we need in his due time as we need it. See you next year Dec group retesters for all others Congratulations RN's 2007
It appears that I will be taking my test in January. I will continue to pray for those who are still waiting on their results and those who are waiting to take the test. I don't have a date because I am in another state and was wishing that I could test while here but there are no test dates available so it appears that I will test in January when I return home around the 8th or 10th. Please continue to pray that God keeps his hands on me while I continue to study and take the test.

pedsnurze1, sorry to hear about your result. I know you're not giving up. we'll still be here to support you. go take a break for sometime then start again. your time will come, just continue to pray. i know that the exam is so unpredicatable even if it seems easy we don't know how it goes. just give it another shot..i believe you'll make it! just study hard, don't rush on things, and pray! Tomorrow is my day and I feel I should reschedule but its too late. I am really scared. Tomorrow is my first time and I dont know why I waited so long. Please, keep me in your prayers. I take the test at 8am yikes.....I am not a morning person at all. Hopefully, I can go to sleep. I am super anxious....Hope by morning I will be ok.
