i haven't heard from our group for a long time, so check in, let us know what's up, how you're doing, where you're headed!me: halfway through!!:w00t: i've switched schools, and i am soooo much happier! just finished ob/ld, and peds. loved those rotations. feb. i will start psych and advanced med/surg. actually starting to think about what kind of nursing i want to go into, instead of if i will get through. i've been on this site for so many years, i'd love to hear from those of you who've been around a long time too. but everyone! check in! heather

I have not seen your posts in a long time! Thanks for starting the thread!I have just began my OB/NICU rotation. I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel!!! December '08 is this year (FINALLY)! I do not want to screw up or do anything stupid to give anyone a reason to feel I need to re-mediate or be removed from the program. Not to say I did not act this way before, but this is third semester and it feels like a whole new ball game so I am stepping up my caution.
LaceyRN 633 Posts Jan 16, 2008 I've just started 3rd semester which is 7wks OB/Comm Health followed by 7wks Peds/Mental Health. I am SO HAPPY this is our year!Everything has been great the last 2 semesters, but I really have to step it up this semester since we have an exam every week. The fall semester will consist of Med-surg III and Graduate Bridging Experience (GBE) and I will be a GN! :w00t:
miss rochelle 172 Posts Jan 16, 2008 hmm, i am scheduled to graduate in december '08. i'm in my second semester right now. we don't have the summer off; we dive right into OB and peds. oh, i should also say that right after the summer semester, we dive into med/surg II... so yeah, no breaks (except for spring break in march)! right now i am doing med/surg I for another 6 weeks, then i'm off to psych for 8 weeks.

CH080605 27 Posts Jan 18, 2008 I'm in an ADN program at a local community college. I was supposed to graduate in May, but had to repeat Med/Surg semester. I'm in Peds/OB right now, then Psych/Med Surg 2 in fall. Scheduled to graduate in December! :) I'm nervous but excited! OH, also, I'm 12 weeks pregnant with #2! So, hopefully I'll be able to get through clinicals without passing out from sheer exhaustion! lol.. -Crystal
