While i was at clinicals i seen that Nursing Assistant are the ones that clean the dead body once they pass ?
Is this in the scope of a Nurse Assistance, & how excactly do you do it ?
Spooked? Why be spooked? Death is natural. There is no advice. The only thing you can do is deal with it when it comes.A body is a body. Alive or dead. You care for them.
Its just that everytime I see a dead bodies at funeral. I cant stop seeing there face. and I get afraid that i will see their spirit! Hopefully It wont be as bad as it seems.
A dead body is the same as a living one, except the life force has gone.Mostly they pass peacefully and this is reflected in their faces.Personally I still speak to them when doing post mortem care and encourage my assistant to do the same.Death is the final act of life ,you should not be scared of it.
