Could someone tell me how much they're paying for tuition per year for the delaware county community college RN program? I read on the packet that there are 70 credits required, is that for the whole program or 70 credits per year.
Also, what's your schedule like? Do you get spring/summer/winter vacations? Or are you expected to work in hospitals during that time?
thank you

if you are in a sponsoring school district it is about $88 a credit. the nursing portion of the program is for 2 years. you do get the summer off. I will be starting the day program in the fall and the schedule seems pretty ok. we have one day off per week each semester. I don't know what the night classes are like.
your best bet is to call the school or go to a nursing information session. Good Luck!
thank you tichi. i do live in the sponsoring district. is it 70 credits altogether for the whole 2 years?

Hi,I'll be starting the Pre-Nursing program at DCCC in January. Does anyone have any suggestions or tips for me regarding which professors to take and when to take specific classes. Thanks in advance for your assistance and best of luck to you all starting the nursing program in '09.

I took a few of the prerequisites online...Abnormal Psych, Pharmacology, and another Sociology class..it was great because if you are well disciplined, you can do well working at your own pace...Also, if you haven't already taken Anatomy & Physiology, I took them both in the summer before NUS 110, and loved it...I went 4 days a week for about 12 weeks, and it was very consolidated, but it also made the time fly by! Also, going right to the nursing classes, I had all the A&P info fresh in my mind still...Good Luck!
