Hey....
I am starting in the Day program at the Chester County Hospital facility. Like yourself, I am looking forward to starting also. It has been such a long ride to get to this point that I am just waiting to get going.
Are you in the day or evening program?
i'm in the evening program... i'm starting to get a little nervous as it approaches. i've finished all my non-nursing classes and now that it's the "real deal" i'm getting anxious....

I graduated from DCCC last year! Congrats and good luck!!! :yeah:Have you gotten any of your instructors names yet????
Online it says Melanie Leroy is my instructor. I dont know if thats classroom or clinical or both.
She was my instructor my first year for classroom!!! She is very good, funny but NEVER be late for her class, she gets VERY annoyed! I did not have her for clinicals but I heard she was tough but fair. To be honest, I had all very tough clinical instructors. I wasn't too happy about it at the time but I was very happy after I began my first job. My former supervisor is a clinical instructor for DCCC, I am not sure if it is day or night/weekends.
When you learn your clinical instructors, let me know!
Good luck and have a great time!
thanks for your feedback, and i'll let you know!
I am in the day program with a Professor Dreisbaugh. If anyone has any words of wisdom, please feel free to pass them along...Thanks...

Elaine Dreisbaugh is great! She is very nice and also has a niche for OB & Cardiac. She explains things in a way that you can understand them. She will also help you out if you are having difficulty. I preferred her from all the DCCC instructors. (Just my opinion).

Out of curiosity... if you don't mind sharing... would you share with me what your NET scores were? I'm sitting for the NET on Wednesday so I can submit my application to DCCC within the next month, but am so afraid I will not score high enough to place in the program.
Thanks!!

ecf1972,
I'm in the same situation as you. I didn't do that well on the reading portion of the test. I've scheduled to take the test again towards the end of Oct. just in time for the priority deadline. Hopefully I can at least get the minimum score or higher to petition for a seat.
Are you going for the day or weekend/night program?
Good Luck!
