10 Days Post NCLEX and Still Pending Application on IN BON Website....

Published

I have my practical nurse license already but took the RN nclex on June 2nd with my friend. She received her license # on the BON website the following night. She had 265 ?s and I had 75. I spoke with someone who failed the nclex 2 weeks prior and said that her name was taken off the BON site the following morning. Has anyone else experienced this long of a wait?

Here in Florida I was able to check my test status the next day and it showed passed. It took another day for my lisence to show up on the "look-up/verify" page with my RN number. I would call the BON in your state and explain your friend scenarios and ask what's up.

Thanks nut they tell you not to call before 6 weeks :(

Did you pass?

If you did, maybe something was missing on your application.

Well, that's not a problem with your board. They can't post your license until Pearson tells them that you passed. Your results are usually finalized within 24 hours and sent to your board.

I'm sorry your results have been on hold for so long. I hope they get released very soon.

Just for clarification, are you saying you do not know if you passed or failed the NCLEX itself? Is Pearson Vue's Quick Results not available in Indiana? If not, it's true you will have to wait for BoN notification /website postings.

If they DO have QR (and I thought they did?) why don't you just pay the $8 to find out your test results?

At that point, you either know you failed (and there's no point in waiting for anything from BoN) or you know you passed, in which case you might want to see what the delay in processing your license number might be.

Indiana does have Quick Results.

I'm under the impression that the OP's results have been put on hold (QR aren't available until the hold is released). I've never heard of anyone put on hold that long before, though.

The longest I've heard of any results being on hold for anyone was 72 hours. Three days. Anything's possible, I suppose, but....something sounds wrong with this situation.

Still, I re-read the original post and it doesn't say she even TRIED to find out via Quick Results; everything talks about the BoN postings, updates, status.

So....OP, please clarify for us? DID you go to the PearsonVue website to pay for Quick Results (NOT the BoN) and found you could NOT get results? Or have you not done this for some reason?

I passed! It was an error with the testing center! God is soooo faithful!!!!! After being out of nursing school for over a year I passed the NCLEX with 75 questions with the help of God!!!!
