Sweet :D

Work 8-5 every day @ a dr's office, this summer I was taking my classes @ night, but starting later this month I'll be going during the day and only working part time. school and work have kept me busy, don't have time for much else.

Specializes in Med/Surg, Geriatrics.

I get up at about 5:30 and get ready for work. I live only 30 miles from the job but I live in the Atlanta area so on a good day, it takes me appr. 1 hour to get to work. In the morning, we do work-ups for physicals and in the afternoon, we do paperwork and scheduling as well as take care of walk-ins. In the afternoon, it's usually quiet enough for me to study for school or play on the 'net. I get off at 5:00 and I usually arrive home at about 6:00. Hubby cooks dinner so I eat and then hang out with the kids (and play on the 'net). :)

.....any darn thing I please. Get up late, stay up late. Just whatever I want to do, whenever I want to do it. Work on my tan, get ready for a vacation to Mexico, life is good.........................until the last Monday of the month when I start NS. Then my life will change (ya think?) :rotfl:

I am currenylt packing and moving this weekend, and taking care of my five year old pretty much had my days full when I am not working. ;) I usually am on here after my little one is off to bed.

Specializes in Gerontological Nursing, Acute Rehab.
Why on earth are you leaving this job to go to Nursing school?!!! Nursing is rewarding but just so you'll know. There'll be no time for web surfing, calling a friend, eating lunch, or going to bathroom. Yep, better get working on that 12 hour bladder capacity now so you'll be ready. Good Luck anyway.

You've got that right! I was just trying to explain to my husband just why I don't get a chance to pee when I work my 12 hr shifts. (That just baffles his mind that there are days that I don't urinate all shift) I've got the bladder of an elephant....and probably the UTI to prove it! :uhoh3:
