Hi nurses, anyone here who applied or working as Dialysis Patient Care Technician at Davita? I'm wondering how much they pay and how long is the training? how many days a week you need to train and did they paid the training?

Any answer will greatly appreciated. Thank you

Hi! I am going to start my training at Davita tomorrow, pay is $38/hour, while on training for 3months or so. First week is office training, paper works and as the manager said computer stuff. The remaining weeks of training consist of going to their chronic dialysis centers and be trained on the machines. After the 3months training, pay is $40/hour. They won't let you do it alone until you feel comfortable. This is acute dialysis by the way. I hope this helps

Why is it higher there than in jersey?

I have no idea, I guess the cost of living is higher too

Southern California, Riverside Co. I'm starting as a new grad RN in an outpatient clinic, hemodialysis only. $35/hour for the first 8 hrs, then time and a half for the last 4 hrs. 3 12's, so the average is $40.83/hr. Does Davita pay more for a BSN? I'm completing my RN-BSN program later this year.
