Hi everyone!
I was hoping for some feedback on the Davita "Onboarding" process. I accepted a position, as was informed that the onboarding takes about 2 weeks. I guess this involves a background check, education and employment verification... does anyone have any insight on this? The timeline seems a bit undependable to me- I need to give my 2 weeks to my current employer and just do not want to be without a paycheck for that long or too overbooked.
Any insight, feedback, tips on any of this would be greatly appreciated. And, may I add, I am so excited for this new position!
Thanks!

Two weeks sounds about right-wait for them to say all checks came back ok then hand in your notice
OK- thank you for your input.

I waited for all my onboarding and background checks to process before I gave my notice and it was weeks to the day. I gave my notice and started. Once I started, I felt it still started slow with online education and I didn't earn a full paycheck for atleast one pay period. I believe that every clinic will run differently though.
Thank you for that input- very appreciated. So it does seem like a true two weeks for the onboarding process. Is there anything I should be aware of/cautious for regarding this process? While I have nothing to hide, I cannot help but feel nervous. Did they do a credit check?
No credit check it is a background check-shouldnt be too complicated normally runs smoothly

Actually I think the background check does include a credit check. Read the fine print on the form you signed agreeing to the background check. You should have received a full disclosure on what will be involved. Many times the wording will be somewhat obtuse in language, but you will get the idea. By signing the form it pretty much leaves the door open to having even what color your grandmother's underwear was on August 15th, 1985 discovered.
If you're at least mostly normal, then no worries. You're golden. :)
Thank you everyone for your feedback! SO appreciated!

Does anyone know how in-depth the De Vita background check is for a non-clinical position?
