I've finished all my prerequisites and passed my TEAS!! I'm applying for the summer '15 program at Darton.. Anyone else??? Also any advice from current students or grads??
The program takes a lot of your time & dedication. I have a previous bachelor's degree (health management) & that program in NO WAY compares to the workload, content, & dedication of this nursing program (any program, really) I do believe you can have a social life but it would require a lot of discipline. Our scrubs are white tops & grey bottoms & all white shoes. I don't honestly believe they try to "weed" out students BUT if you aren't on top on your classwork, you will fail.

Thanks so much for replying! I guess there really is no way around the work load. I have been trying to just relax and enjoy my break while I wait for a letter, but I am definitely getting antsy. I'm trying to organize as much as possible. Did you have any experience in the medical field prior to starting? I start my 17 day cna certification process this month to help pass time and to hopefully give me some experience.
I did too!
Congratulations! That wait drove me crazy but I enjoyed myself now I'm ready to get started! I was looking online and it had a list of chapters and mentioned to bring so and so. Are we supposed to have all those chapters read before class starts or do we just "bring" the material for it?

@1beautifulmess hi!!
That's awesome. Are you applying for the summer track or are you applying for the bridge?
