  1. The program takes a lot of your time & dedication. I have a previous bachelor's degree (health management) & that program in NO WAY compares to the workload, content, & dedication of this nursing program (any program, really) I do believe you can have a social life but it would require a lot of discipline. Our scrubs are white tops & grey bottoms & all white shoes. I don't honestly believe they try to "weed" out students BUT if you aren't on top on your classwork, you will fail.
  2. I'm a current student, if you want to know anything specific, you can message me.
  3. 75 is the lowest C in our program.
  4. Retake a few pre-req's & work hard to get A's. Take or retake your TEAS or HESI. Then reapply to more than one program (ADN, BSN, & ABSN). Don't give up! Good luck!
  5. Currently, I work PRN in registration at the local hospital. I absolutely love it! After I complete Fundamentals, I plan to switch to the clinical side.
  6. Add me. Jeannetta Wyche
  7. I got your message & replied. Lol.
  8. This is my EXACT situation. I have a Bachelor of Heath Science & I have been accepted into an ADN program. I've thought about Fl when I complete my ADN but now learning that it's expensive...I think I'm changing my mind. Lol.
  9. I PM'd you!!!
  10. I was accepted into Darton's Nursing Traditional Track & mine still says Pre-Nursing. So don't give up!!!
  11. Congratulations!!! I found out earlier this month I was accepted into my ADN program. I am sooooo excited but a tad bit nervous.
  12. What was the hardest part of Nursing School? I would like to heard from all types of nurses, new grads, seasoned nurses, and etc.
  13. Thanks for that information, sweetie. I appreciate it!!!!!
  14. Is it true in GA, after your first semester of nursing school you can take the CNA certification exam? Also, is it true in GA, after your first year in nursing school you can sit for the NCLEX-PN? I've been looking for this information, but failed to find it.
  15. I also start NS next month. Very nervous.
