Anyone apply to Fall 2011 nursing program? If so, what are your GPA's looking like, have you finished all your pre-reqs, and have you taken the HESI test yet?

OK, so I called the administration office this morning because I couldn't understand how a 92 on the hesi was too low for acceptance. As it turns out, there is someone who shares my last name who got an acceptance letter by mistake and I got her denial letter :eek:. The lady I spoke with apologized and said I would be receiving my acceptance letter shortly. I feel so sorry for the student who will be let down but I am super relieved that I will have a seat this fall!

Yea, I had the biggest grin on my face. And yes! I do live on base. What about you?

Yes I stay on Williams Blvd! We might have to get together and do study sessions on base whenever school starts! When I got the letter I called the school thinking they made a mistake since I got the letter 3 weeks earlier than I planned...I am happy they sent them early though =] I am SO looking forward to the semester now! Now all I got to worry bout now is putting my son in daycare!

Received my acceptance letter today....so excited about starting the nursing classes this fall!!!!

Are you CPR certified? I have to do mine but I don't know the closest place around here that does it thru AHA

Yes I stay on Williams Blvd! We might have to get together and do study sessions on base whenever school starts! When I got the letter I called the school thinking they made a mistake since I got the letter 3 weeks earlier than I planned...I am happy they sent them early though =] I am SO looking forward to the semester now! Now all I got to worry bout now is putting my son in daycare!

Hey I live on williams too! When you first pull into housing, I'm the 3rd house on the left. 12017A. Where are you at. Do you have a facebook. And getting together sounds great! I seem to study a lot better in a group! And yea I have to get my kids in day care as well. I think I might put them in part time at the CDC.

OMGGGG yea your scores were way high. And I would have been so angry that they made that mistake!!! I would be so scared what the other girl's reaction was going to be! I mean...sending her an acceptance, and then sending her a denial saying it was a mistake!!!! That would take all of my joy away lol. I'm glad you got in and looking forward to classes with you!

I stay in 12021A...so we are near by (basically neighbors lol)! Thats cool! I saw that you mentioned CPR in a post...CDC had a CPR and First Aid class about a week or two ago and it was $5 per class....so luckily I did it....I didnt even know you needed it! Study groups are always so helpful! Yes I have FB...you can search Anastacia Boulden and I am going to look for you!

Was it the BLS for Healthcare professionals? Because I spoke to the head nursing professor today and she said it has to be that one. I'm taking mine for $30 so if you don't have that one, we should go take it together!!
