Anyone apply to Fall 2011 nursing program? If so, what are your GPA's looking like, have you finished all your pre-reqs, and have you taken the HESI test yet?

Yeah, Micro is all I have left. I just took A&P II last semester. Hopefully they'll let you take both. I'll cross my fingers for you :)

I took the HESI on May 20 and made a composite score of 93.54% with an A&P of 90%. My GPA is only a 2.91 though (my bad grades are from over 10 years ago when I was still a stupid teenager). All I have left on core for the fall is Micro, and I'm in Human Growth and Development this summer A term. Do you guys think i have any chance at getting in? I have A's in both A&P 1&2, and Medical terminology, and I feel like my HESI score is great, but my GPA has me really scared.

I'm absolutely sick and shocked right now. I just got a denial letter from Darton for the reason of test scores. I don't understand. My GPA is 4.0, I made a 92 on Hesi (88 on A&P), and I'm done with core. :( I'm in tears and not sure what to do now :cry:.

OK, so I called the administration office this morning because I couldn't understand how a 92 on the hesi was too low for acceptance. As it turns out, there is someone who shares my last name who got an acceptance letter by mistake and I got her denial letter :eek:. The lady I spoke with apologized and said I would be receiving my acceptance letter shortly. I feel so sorry for the student who will be let down but I am super relieved that I will have a seat this fall!
