does anyone know who is hiring in dallas? i just graduated and moved here from houston; one hospital said i would have to wait until an internship program opened up. some of my classmates that are down in houston already found jobs at some big hospitals like texas women's. any help would be appreciated. thanks

Hey!

Texas Women's is not a hospital, it's a school. Texas Women's University.

Usually new grads get internships at hospitals. If you did not apply to one, it's probably too late for the fall, but you can apply for spring internships. I'd just look online at hospital's websites and call the HR recruiters.

Some hospitals in Dallas are... Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas, Baylor University Medical Center, UT Southwestern, Parkland, Children's, and Medical City Dallas.

texas women's is a hospital; i did my ob rotation there. my best friend works there. it's in houston tx. not dallas. thanks anyways, i'm still looking..

I would like to move to Dallas from Fla. I was very impressed with the city of Dallas. Tired of Fla. I just found out I have to take a 2 hour test to receive my license in Texas. That sucks. I am licensed in Fla and Hawaii. When I applied for my Hawaii license i did not have to take a test. Why does Texas implement this?? Something must have happened for them to enforce this. And I also found out my malpractice liablity insurance premium will go up and coverage will go down once I leave Florida to go to Texas. What gives about this state??

I think Dallas is a great place to shop and they have Great restaurants!! Love Galleria Mall!!:heartbeat

reading this makes me jealous! , I use to live in Frisco, Texas. I love that city and the state of Texas but Im currently in NJ in nursing school just can't wait to finish school to move back to the city of Frisco.
